oooh...i'm so jealous..wish i was going back :)
Definitely take a helicopter tour..that was pretty cool, you get to see sunken ships in the water, and see the whole island...Also, the atv tour was pretty exciting, just a little scary for me to ride my own atv towards the end of the trip..it was very bumpy.. i should've just paired up with my DH.
I cant remember the name of the place, but its mexican food and drinks and just a fun place! Also, the private island at the Renaissance...that is the hotel we stayed at, but I think you can check it out if you are staying somewhere else...We were there every day, it was so amazing!
oh boy...too many things to list...there are brochures at all the hotels so you'll see what the offer!
Have a great time!

I stayed at the Renaissance and you can't go to the private Island unless you are staying at that hotel. They make you swipe your room key to get on the boat. Carlos and Charlies was a good spot to hit for dinner (prepare to be embarrassed) and later on. We did the Kuku kanukoo drinking tour which was pretty fun. I think our favorite time was renting a jeep and just driving around the island and the national park and just getting ourselves lost (the place is really too small to get lost, but there are nooooo street signs). I would pass on the submarine. Everyone loves the ATV and horseback tours. Go to Baby Beach for snorkeling. My favorite dinner was at the Flying Fishbone--very romantic and very good food.

We went in February...it was the best vacation I've been on, a real vacation.

We spent the days at the beach or the pool, and the nights going around town, to dinner, casinos, etc.

My favorite restaurants were:

Chalet Suisse
El Gaucho
Flying Fishbone (request a table by the water)

There are tons of casinos too, I liked the ones at the Marriott, Radisson and Hyatt the best!

Have fun!

I am so jeleous! I had such a great time there! A few things that we did were:

The Jeep Tour
The Sunset Sail (BEAUTIFUL!)
The Glass Bottom Boat

At our hotel we had a sunset dinner on the beach. We did that our last night there. It was so romanitc, and the food was great! We stayed at the Wyndham.

El Gauchos' is a must if you like steak.

Also we did the jeep tour and had serious issues with it. They make you drive a stick shift and follow the tour leader. It was pretty scary for us. I would much more recommend the ATV tour. THey had a huge group of people on that one and it looked fun...but be warned you get dirty.

Remember your suntan lotion!! And drinks lots of water too!

We also went to a great seafood restaurant across the street and one block down from the Hyatt. I can't remember the name but they had some great seafood.

Carlos and Charlies is fun but the AC was broken when we were there so we did not stay long.

And if you like to party take the Kukookalokie (sp?) party bus. You meet so many fun people on that (we actually went out to dinner one night with a couple we met) and you go to three bars and eat a meal and get dropped off at your hotel....SO MUCH FUN!

The best casino to me was at Occidental and Days Inn.

Also walk the beach along the hotels (between the Wyndham and Marriot) both in the day and at night...you will see so many things to do and at night there are parties all over the place.

have fun...i want to go back so badly!

ETA - The Sunset Grille at the Raddison is AMAZING too. We loved the outdoor atmosphere and food....it was expensive though.

If you want to go to the Flying Fishbone and want a table on the water at sunset, go to Aruba.com and under restaurants, they have a website where you can make a reservation. Otherwise, you're not likely to get that table, even though anyplace there is still nice.

AH! The Wyndham! You are going to love it! The food at all the restaurants is delicious! Definaltely do the dinner on the beach! It is called Azul, I believe. I think it might be an extra $20 or so if you went all inclusive, but it is sooooo worth it! I hope you have a wonderful time! Make sure you tell them you are on your honeymoon, and they will send up a bottle of champaigne on your first night there!

We went to Aruba for 13 days on our honeymoon.

Definetly go snorkeling at DePalm Island -- best there is. Also good snorkeling at Baby Beach and at the shipreck. We asked the people at the dive shop at Baby Beach where to snorkel and they circled all of these remote beaches that were so much fun because we weren't swimming on top of other people.

The sunset sail is nice too.

We really enjoyed the food at La Rumba in town -- low key, good portions, good price.

If you can afford, we also liked Chez Matilde very much. Very fancy, but good!

And we had so much fun renting our own piece of sh*t 4x4 and touring the island ourselves.

Places we thought were overated:

Texas de Brazil (unless you LOVE meat, it's not for you)

La Trattoria (the restaurant at the lighthouse) -- atmosphere was nice, but for the price, I thought the food left much to be desired -- go for drinks and appetizer only.
