I am just curious what type of apps everyone has. I sort of get bored quickly with some of them. I hate having to pay for them, so I stick with the free ones, but if I find something that is worth it, I will pay for it.
So far I have:
Pandora (If you don't have this, get it. You type in the music you want to hear or a song tht you like, and it plays all the music in that genre. I like it b/c it gives me some ideas of what I can downlod on itunes for the ipod)
Lose it!: It keeps track of what you eat everyday and you just put in your weight and your goal ,and it helps calculate daily what you should eat to meet your goal. :)
SpinArt: So far, I play this the most out of everything. It allows you to save your art to your gallery to use as wallpaper.
AllRecipes: Recipe Spinner, you pick a category like 'dessert, entree' and then pick 'chocolate, chicken, etc' and then the time you want to cook for '20 minute meal, slow cooker meal' and you view all the matches for the category you selected.
KoiPond: I just like to touch the fish lol
IzenGarden: It has nice background music that you can change, I also love zen gardens.
Art Gallery: Has tons of pictures; photography, paintings, etc. You can save them to your gallery, and keep a list of favorites. I like this alot.
Scoops: It's a fun game, I think it was $.99 , and its addicting.
I also downloaded the Watchmen app, b/c I am comic book nerd.

lol It is pretty cool. I don't bother with gadgets and electronic stuff, besides video game systems. I just like it b/c I never had an ipod and it has that with it, and the map thing is pretty cool too.

Thanks for the information though I am going to get them on DH's phone when he comes home.

We also opted for the 3G b/c it's not too expensive. I think its selling for $200 now. I mean, it's worth it. You get an ipod , you get map directions, you can email, text, chat. IT's worth it.

Re: for those with an iphone, share your apps!
I looooooooove my iphone!!!!
I dont have too many apps, but love the ones I have:
Facebook- I like live on it now! It freezes from time to time which is annoying, but whatever- it hasnt stopped me from being on it 24-7
Aim
Myspace
Pandora: The most AMAZING thing since sliced bread! It like a personal radio station. a MUST for anyone...they even have it on a website so you dont need an iphone to use it!
Flixster-its AWSOME- its tells you all the movies that are in theaters, that are going to be released in theaters-you can see the trailer, reviews, look up local movie theaters and show times.
CityTransit- This one has come in handy a couple of times...it looks up the nearest subway (it locates you) and can of course shows you nyc subway and bus map-also tells you updates on the lines (like delays)
Tipulator-I am horrible at math...this has made my life sooo easy... I simply put the bill...enter the tip percentage you want to give and then how many people you want to split the bill with and wala! calculates the total for you!
Urbanspoon: This is a must! really great app it locates you and locates nearby resturants...you can also look it up by type of cuisine (ex: asian, italian)
Drinks Free: I havent used this yet but love that I have it..its like a dictionary of drinks-ingrediants and all..you can bookmark and save your fav's
IP- before its update it was called IPeriod but now its descreet by being called IP---this is AWSOME- its basically a period tracker and calculates you next period.,, you enter your symptons and keep track
Penguin Lite & Topple: these two were free game apps- I havent used them yet
BubbleWrap: another free app--its like the first thing a downloaded...lol-- its cute if nothing else.
LIW should make an app!!!

Re: for those with an iphone, share your apps!
Some of my favorites are: All of these that I've downloaded are free! Twitteriffic Facebook Bank of America-I think some other banks have apps now too. I Can Has Cheezburger (cute lolcat pics) I heart Radio Shazam-Hold it up to a radio and it tells you what song is playing. Urban Spoon-Look up restaurants in any city and price range. Weatherbug Google-you can select calendar, gmail, docs, you tube Backgrounds-they update very often-the pic is what my current wallpaper is.
Some random games that I love: PacMan Lite Fuzzle LIte Touch Hockey AstroTilt
I also have Take me to my car but I think it's made to work with the 3g with navigation and I have the first gen.
The app that I really want is an IMDB app so I can look up people in movies quickly.
