just curious - did you get ready at a salon, or did u have the stylists come to the house??? I had them come to my house..i didn't want to have to worry about a thing that day, and NO WAY was i risking having to be outside on a december night...thankgod because there was hurricane rain & wind on our wedding day!!

that's where i got ready. parent's house waaaay too small and crazy.

Since I had a daytime wedding I wanted to get ready closer to my RH. So, I packed up my car at 6am, in the rain with a scarf around my head to keep my hair straight and frizz free, drove to my sis's house, picked her and my niece up and arrived at the salon at 7:30. G-d forbid my sister should have offered up her house to get ready at. We got beautiful then arrived at the RH shortly before 10am to get dressed for pics.
Yes, I drove myself on my wedding day.

I had my hair done at the salon and my make up done at home. It actually worked out well, I was able to take a breather at the salon alone while everyone and their mother was at my house.
