forgive me for this nerdy experimental thread, but.....

YAY!!!

At work, I've been wrestling with this horrible kit since august. It doesn't seem to be sensitive enough for what I need it for.....

Well, I gave up on it and instead, I designed a new experiment (taking ideas from several other groups and squishing them together)...

At any rate, IT WORKS. This is important since I gave this @#$@##$# assay to my undergrad as a senior thesis project, so the pressure was on to get it up and running ASAP.

I'm so glad I can now move on and finally do what I wanted........

you sound just like my DH. congrats on getting things to work!!!! i know (2nd hand) how frustrating those experimental things can be!!
