Framing your bouquet

Framing your bouquet

Hello... My bouquet is laying in my living room all dried up. It still looks great so I heard from somewhere that you can frame it?!? It is a box frame that is thick in width. Kind of hard to explain....anyway has anyone heard of this or where in Nassau County you can have this done. I wonder if you can DIY or if you have to have it preserved a special way before putting it in the frame. I think it is a special way to save it and it would probably look beautiful hanging in the bedroom or somewhere. Thanks

Check out the floral area in Michael's, they sell things that preserve flowers that have already dried. I was there the other day to buy silicon to preserve living flowers.

They also have shadowboxes but I don't know how big your bouquet is and they may not fit in those boxes.

Hope it helps. Good luck

I bought a spray and a box at Michaels but I'm scared to spray the spray on there since it's not for 'delicate' flowers..do you think Roses and Stephanotis are too delicate for the spray? Help!

I have been wondering about that too. I have been married for almost 9 months and my flowers are dried up and is in a vase. I want to do something with it but I don't know what. I'm afriad that if I try to put it into a shadow box now I will ruin my flowers.

Thanks for posting this...I hung my bo-k as soon as I got home from the reception and it dried up perfectly...its sitting on my entertainment center but I was wondering the same thing...is there a box that would fit such a thick thing?

Where did everyone hang their bo-ks?
I put mine in the garage, and its not really drying up.

I am going to be ordering this for my flowers and I am going to make a memory box out of it.

I am going to check out the shadow boxes too...

I had my sister's Bo-K dried and preserved at a place near my house in MA and it turned out beautifully, but all those preservation services need the flowers before they're dried. My mom hung mine upside down in the kitchen after the wedding (don't forget to check if any of the flowers are in those individual water holders...if you don't dump the water the flowers will get moldy) and mine dried perfectly.

I have seriously considered just throwing it out, but I might regret it later.

Does anyone know where I can buy a glass dome or something like Lisa has to display my bouquet?
