We started out bad with a 30 hr trip. (Dont ask everything was late etc.)
SanMargarete/Portofino were definately worth it. It was so beautiful and relaxing. I cant say enough about it. We are going back to spend a longer period of time in that area.
Florence was a little more crouded and had more of a big city feel to it than I remembered but we still enjoyed it.
Venice was great - as beautiful as all the picutres you see of it. We had some rain and some 'high water warnings'. St. Marks Sq was flooded for one afternoon but even that was fun.
London is always great and since we used out points to stay in a ***** suite hotel for free it was even better.
If anyone wants any specific information about hotels etc. let me know.

I'm so glad you had a great trip. It was deserved. Isn't Venice so unbelievable. When I went a few years ago it was like a big movie set. You just couldn't believe it was all real. Gondola ride was great too - did you get to do that.

I'm dying to go to Italy, but my beloved DH has plane issues!!! I'm glad you had such a great time!! Please post some pictures so I can drool some more!!!!![]()
