Hi girls, I would like to go to Bora Bora for my Honeymoon, but I see that many couples that go to Bora Bora also go to Moorea. For those of you who went to both islands, do you think its worth it to go to Moorea too? Were there any activities that you could only do at Moorea and not Bora Bora?

the activites for the most part are the same..
we did both because we wanted to see as much as we could in the time we had..
also things are more expensive in bora bora..
both islands are beautiful and offer a different feel.. we rented scooters and drove around the entire island of moorea.. something you cant really do in borabora because its all motus..
if you can swing your stay to be all borabora thats fine.. but def save that island for last as it is beautiful if you go to both!!!

we stayed in Tahiti for three nights and we did a day trip to Moorea which was totally worth it!
We had a great time in Moorea and i think a day was perfect but maybe 2-3 nights would have been nice too.
But i loooooooooved our itinerary. We had a great time in tahiti and we got to enjoy our beautiful hotel. then we did 4 night bora bora- NOT TO BE MISSED!! and 3 nights le tahaa.
i loved tahiti!

We spent time on both. The water and sport activities are pretty much the same; however, Moorea's Tiki Village (traditional dance show) is is lauded as being pretty authentic, and you'll probably find more choice and lower prices for black pearls on Moorea. (Although you'll probably find the most black pearl shops in Papeete in Tahiti.)
The post above about the two islands having a different feel was right on target. Bora Bora is more over-the-top luxurious. You will definitely be pampered there, especially on site at the resorts. Moorea is less developed. You'll find luxury resorts there, to be sure, but there is more natural beauty there with unfettered mountain and cliff views. There was a plantation in the middle of Moorea that was like a valley in the middle of the island which was really beautiful. I recommend both!

Bali, Indonesia...is an alternative spin! check out the place i stayed its gorgeouss..and check out some of my honeymoon pics!
