FRIDAY 08-08-08 GIRLS NITE OUT

I hope all of you who talked about it, voted or who I talked to can make it. And those girls I didnt talk to, I want you to come too! FM me or reply here

We are def gonna do it August 8 and it will be in a place in the city, as close to Penn as we can get for those who need to take the train/subway... around 6:30, 7pm.

More details to come. Lemme know if you can make it asap so I can start making a list.

And any ideas on where to have it would be greatly appreciated since Im a Suffolk girl and dont know what the hell Im doing when it comes to places in the city. LoL So I need advice!

Looking for a laid back place with good food and drink, not too pricey and no stuck-up snotty places, LOL. Dont worry if you have no money...your company is more then enough!

My motto for this get together is Just Come, Dont A SS Out.

I don't post much, and I probably dont talk much but I would like to come too, maybe after I meet some of you girls I'll come out of my shell.

I work in the city and I take the LIRR to Long Beach so it would be easy for me to get there.

We are going to see iggy pop that night so it would be kind of mean to go seperate & tell him to meet me at the show

Maybe we'll just stop in quick to meet everyone & say hi

Definetly come! No one bites I love to meet new girls-makes the boards mroe interesting.

Been to Mustang Sallys definetly and liked it. Agave I want to say i was there for someone's birthday party but not sure. if its what i am thinking of it was pretty pricey for what you got (portion wise) but maybe I am mistaken. If it WAS the same place, the food is really good though.

Donna I spoke to my friend and she mentioned that she'd been to an irish pub/resturant where the food was really good and the prices were reasonable.

This is their website. Im salivating over the desert menu..... LOL i cant drink alchohol because of stomach issues so I need good food. No other requirement for me.

I LOVE Mustang Sally's, they have great calamari and good drinks.

i walked passed Mustang Sallys last Friday around 7:30ish.. it wasnt really crowded which i think would be perfect for the GTG.. No shouting and stuff and its spacious.. looked nice..

worse comes to worse we can just go down the block to Mustang Harrys.. i'm assuming its very similar..

wish i could be of more help!! i'm not familiar with the bars over their.. think joshua tree is near penn but i want to say that its small and prob crowded..

Hi Gibi! I'd be very happy if you could come, I read your posts all the time on the Desi thread ( I know , i know, I secretly wanted a desi AND american wedding, but they woulda looked at me funny considering DH is Peruvian!!)

Im thinking we should have it around after work time, sometime between 6 and 7, no? what do you think girls?

Oh, thank you , thats good to know! I think I'll make a post with two or three places were we can vote...alot of them look good.

And if you come, I wanna hear all about BoraBora so I can vicariously live through your honeymoon!!!! I wish someone would just put me in their suitcase already....but now the airlines...you even pay for that! lol
