HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Do you have any really irrational fears? Like not your average fears (public speaking, flying, etc.) but fears that you realize are a little strange?

For example: I always make fun of one of my friends bc she has a fear of people crawling (sorry Jill).

And/or

Do you have any weird superstitions/OCD tendencies? Just weird things you feel like you have to do or else something bad will happen?

I have a fear of NAPKINS. I cannot touch someone else's used napkin. No one can touch my napkin. If I put my napkin on my plate to signify that I'm done eating and someone eats off of my plate, I just about barf.

It's weird and I'm certainly not a germophobe or a neat freak, but it's something about napkins that creeps me.

I’m not a fan of going into our basement at night. Like, I will if I’m doing laundry or something, but then when I’m going back upstairs I always feel like I have to run up the stairs bc I feel like someone’s chasing me from behind.

As for superstitions, I always have to put my left shoe on first. Always always. And before getting on a plane, I always have to touch the outside of it when you’re getting on. (my friend always made me do it when I traveled with her so now I have to do it too.

i dont fear anything weird like the lady on maurry who fears cotton balls lol but i have a fear of slugs, i think its not a werid but normal one! they are gross and i stepped on one barefoot as a kid, so now every time i see them all gooie and gross i get out the salt and watch them melt away! LOL (i sound evil dont i)

i am very superstisious actually, if i find a penny on the floor face up i have to pick it up.

i have to drive the same way to work everyday, beceause i feel if i switch it up one day i will die in a horrible car accident cuz i wasnt suppose to be on that road at that time...i was suppose to be on my normal route.
i swear i do have ocd, but like a slight form, like i dont have to check the door to make sure i locked it 25 times, but i do need to do things in certain orders or i think something bad with happend

dh has it slightly too, he counts stairs! ever sigle time.even if its just one step, he goes in his head. 1...he hates that our bedroom is now on the second floor, cuz he has to count everytime he walks up or down! we have 13 steps to get to our bedroom! LOL

Hahaha no, I think babies are ok. But like if the parent is on the floor crawling along after their baby, that is NOT ok.

OMG

Lets talk about me for aminute...cause i realized how nuts i am after moving out of my moms

I have a fear of tripping off the curb and getting my head run over by a bus


And OCD tendancies?

I wash my grout with a toothbrush.... every two days...

I can not wash the floor with a mop, if i do , after I will get down on my knees and scrub it with a sponge cinderella style to make sure its clean...

The blankets on the bed must be even before placing the pillows on...

I carry baby wipes around iwth me and clean my phone with alcahol when I get home...yes... nuts

I have 2 completely irrational fears:

1. I'm afraid of birds. I hate 'em - especially seagulls.

2. I am afraid of sleeping with the closet door open. It must be closed. I blame that on my parents who told us when we were little that the monsters lived the closet and couldn't get out.

As far as OCD tendancies, I have quite a few. Here's one though - I NEVER - I mean just about NEVER walk barefoot. I wear slippers of flip flops all the time. I won't even just walk around in socks. I'm ok at the beach or pool but not around the house and DEFINITELY not outside unless I'm poolside.

i have the weirdest fears. it's kind of funny--i can go on roller coasters, love the idea of sky diving, don't mind bugs, but if you put me near a cat or a buffet restaurant I want to vomit!

i got really brutually attacked by a cat when i was in third grade and had to be hospitalized...i haven't gone near one since.

as for buffets...i just think of all of the germs that accumulate over time with people's dirty hands, and i want to PEACE OUT.

I have a fear of fish. LIke any kind of fish. I don't like to go near them at all...even if they are in a fishbowl or tank. I also don't tend to swim in lakes or oceans (unless I can clearly see my feet.) Fish just completely creep me out.

I also avoid sponges at all costs. They absolutely disgust me and I will not touch one. I'll gag if I smell one. Shudder....

I have a huge fear of animals....any kind of animal (dogs, cats, SQUIRRELS, birds, insects) except dolphins. I love dolphins.

OCD - I have to rinse everything that goes into my refrigerator. My mom always told me to think of how many people touch stuff at the supermarket and then might not buy it so you have to wash everything---soda bottles, stuff in any type of packaging, anything.

I'm actually the opposite of jessica on this one I try to take different routes and different ways to go to places b/c I feel if I do the same way everytime, someone will follow me, kidnapp me, and kill me in the woods.

I have no fears. But im not in love with bugs either so.

Im definitely definitely OCD - U R NOT ALLOWED to gonear my phone in my office or use my pen. Ihave a seperate pen/pencil stand for you. I also wash my hands alot & never open or close a public garbage can or bathroom door with my hand i always use a napkin. I also need things to be neat & in order & where i put them. Also i wash all of my new clothes before wearing & i wash all of my food veggies fruits & meat before cooking. & Antibacterial & hand wipes are my best friends. Oh & lets not start on salad bars or anything like that. Cause u cant get me near one! UGH I know IM NUTS! LOL LOL

I'm with you on the fish. I don't mind seeing them in tanks, but the SMALL ones. I hate big fish. They make me cringe. I don't like looking at them in a tank or anything. And the thought of even eating one is even worse.

Me too....I hate them! I get made fun of all the time but I don't care...they scare the he-ll out of me!!

I'm afraid of butterflies and moths. I have no idea why. I never had a traumatic experience with them as a child or anything. I'm not keen on dragonflies, bats, birds, anything that 'flaps' either, but not paralyzing fear like butterflies. If one comes near me, I go in to convulsions. I'm afraid one day one will get in to my car, because I'll probably freak and go head on in to a truck. Or I'll be holding a baby...and most likely, baby will go boom.

A psychic once told me that I was a peasant in the middle ages, and was working the fields and a butterfly type creature that is now extinct bit me, and I had an instantaneous allergic reaction and died on the spot, and it happened so fast that I was looking down at my body on the ground and couldn't figure out why I could see it from above and what had happened. And this is apparently the LOGICAL explanation as to why I'm afraid of butterflies.

I'm not really superstitious...I was pretty insistent on not seeing DH before the wedding though because I didn't want bad luck.

OMG I always think about that when I go tanning!!!

Also I only do the stand up now bc of I Know What You Did Last Summer where the person got trapped inside one of the beds. (Although tecnically I guess they could do the same thing with the stand up one.)
