Friday - almost Vday QOTD

Ok a second question came to my mind...

Listening to Z100 on my way to work this morning & they were discussing flowers for valentine's day....

Would you be upset if your DH purchased flowers for you for Vday from a gas station or road side vendor?

It doesn't matter where the flowers are from, it's the thought that counts. DH & I have beent ogether almost 10 years. When we were younger he ALWAYS would buy me those fake single roses in all different colors. I still have them. The week before our wedding we were at a gas station and he went in to pay and came out with one of the old school fake roses. It was sweet If DH bought me V-day flowers from a gas station or road side vendor I wouldn't care.

I'll be honest with you...DH buys roses for me from 'the flower guy' who periodically stops by his shop on Fridays...and I really dont mind.
The flowers are pretty..They dont last as long - but I like that he's not spending a fortune on flowers.

Although once in a while, I'd love to be surprised at work with a flower delivery

nope i'd actually be impressed, i have been telling him to do that for the last 6 years....i would rather cheap flowers than those expensive ones that die 3 days later

for me, it doesn't matter. it's definitely the thought that counts. just knowing that he saw some pretty flowers and wanted to bring them to me melts my heart anyway, so i'd be smitten either way

I really don't care where he gets them from, I would prefer him not spending lots of money on them

i could care less! its the thought that counts! i dont even want flowers for valentines day! i would prefer getting them on the 15th! cuz its our 6 month anniversary!

Not at all. The more expensive the flowers the sooner they die it seems in my experience. When DH picks up flowers at the supermarket they last forever! I prefer he spend less money b/c they are going to die anyway. I prefer chocolate to flowers anyway.

I would be happy to get any flowers...he bought me flowers twice in our relationship...for our 1st V day and then for our 5 yr anniversary he sent me flowers at work. He find them a waste of money so I would be happy with a single rose.

We never ever do flowers...oddly enough thuogh..he sent them to work today! Yowza! lol

No, I wouldn't care if he picked them off a lawn, its the thought that counts and I know we are on a budget.

No, in fact, I'd probably expect it LOL. I'd be more mad that he bought flowers at all. I flipping hate flowers! That's why I got a really good laugh that that was my wedding present.
