flowergirl did you use a bo-k, kissing ball or basket with rose petals???

i love the kissing ball but am afraid what it might look like by the end of the night.....i also love the bok and basket......

help!!

I used kissing balls.

My little girls were rough and by the end of the night they were still together. The kissing ball is pretty strong.

I wanted my FG to throw petals...but I dont like baskets. So I made a 'box' covered with fabric & ribbon that matched the FG dress:

I had a basket with red roses in it to match my bouquet. Didn't do the petals becuase I had a feeling our flower girl would get all shy..

I did mine really quickly...when cleaning out my grandfathers house...I found a small basket...my dad spray painted it white and I filled it with dried rose petals from the first roses that DH had given to me...so the whole thing had deeper meaning...

she forgot to throw the petals until right at the end

Everybody had such adorable girls & I think its nice to see how everyone did something a little different. I don't think I ever realized that before.

My Fg was my stepdaughter she was 8. She had a basket & did the petals, but I also had a mini bo-k for her which she tooks pics with.

ps - a kissing ball is picutred in the first pic...its a round ball shape of roses that has a loop that the flowergirl can hold....

I wanted to do a kissing ball, but as Patrick pointed out, our flowergirl may have used it as a weapon (think cat o' nine tails... ). She's not very ladylike.
We went with a basket instead.

we had a kissing ball made up... silk flowers...all our flowers were silk and came out beautiful

We had a basket, but b/c the church would not let us throw petals .... said it would be too messy .... her basket had no petals inside. She pretended to throw them! The kids that came to the ceremony commented that she was pretending!! I probably should have gotten her the kissing ball, but didn't think about it until it was waaaay too late!
