Fuming.. Work related

this is exactly what pisses me off about the current state of our economy and these bailouts!!!

is he taking out clients or other employees? if clients, i'd say necessary evil. if other employees, i'd say

but i hear you; i need a new computer at work so badly but don't want to ask right now.

other employees from other offices in the US. its just aggrevating. its not just once in awhile either its on a regular basis. then when they travel too they go town on their expenses too.

I work in Finance as well and our company is making cutbacks. They are in the process of combining agencies which means my office is moving. We need new computers- our lease with our Dells are way past the date and it's costing more to fix these machines than to buy new ones. Knock on wood though- no layoffs yet.

If your boss is putting in expenses for steakhouses and crap, that is just WRONG!!!!!!!

Me too!

Ah yes, completely and totally understand and feel your pain.

I'd vent on here all day about the things I get to expense if I could but for fear of being fired, I won't.

I will say though that I am a tough one, I look at a receipt and If I don't feel it's appropriate or within policy i don't enter it.
