Ours will run in Newsday on Sunday, December 4!!! But I won't see it then since we live in VA

No, I had asked my mother too and she never did. I wonder if a year after is too late. It probably is.

No...not sure why, but we both really didn't even consider it. When it was brought up to us we both immediately said 'hell no'...

When is it too late to 'announce' your wedding? We haven't sent anything in. Had never thought much about doing it, now I wish I had.

Yes, I saw the information in Newsday and sent it in after our wedding.... so many of our friends and family saw it and I have about 1/2 dozen copies... it's just nice to see your name and picture in the Newspaper

We were in the Daily News wedding section on august 28th..with our picture and all. The Daily News actually comes out to the ceremony with their own photographers and takes a picture of you and DH at the ceremony itself. They get all of your backgground history the week leading up to the wedding.

I didn't want my wedding announced, but my mother didn't care so she and her friends all wrote to the Daily News on our behalf and they sent a photographer to the wedding and it appeared in the Sunday paper the week after. A picture of me from my bachelorette party also wound up in the Daily News, but that was pure coincidence (and sooooooo embarrassing )

I kept meaning to send my info to Newsday but, as I am a HUGE procrastinator, I never got around to it.
