Furniture help needed.. computer desk/hutch workspace

OK all of you charming ladies, I need help. We're doing a bunch of home improvements and I FINALLY persuaded DH to throw out his monster sized roll top desk in favor of something a bit mod. Now I'm stuck cause we can't find anything great to replace it with; I'm looking for something that will do a good job of hiding cords, I HAAAATE the wire jungle we have going on here. If you like your desk setup can you tell me where you got it??? I'm STUMPED!!!

TIA!!!

I would check out places like Staples and Office Max if I were you but be warned....It takes like 10 hours to put those things together!

C&B:

have you tried furn-a-kit? We got our desk there and I love it. We had to build it ourselves, but it wasn't too hard and it was a great price. This is our desk: link

Have a look at Home Decorators . It is Home Depot brand decorations.

I want this desk

I have to wait to get it though. DH went to Office Max or Staples one day with his friend. He picked out a desk brought it home and put it together as a surprise for me, before I got home from work. The desk was . About 6 feet long and the wrong color for the room.

It was fake wood and had stickers on it to make it look like wood. Anyway after fake smiling for 5 minutes and DH being so proud of himself. The truth came out 'THIS IS THE UGLIEST DESK I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. GET IT OUT OF THE HOUSE.'

Since that day I am scared to bring up the subject of a new desk . The ugly desk goes out to the curb one piece at a time so some of the remains are in the garage.

We got this one. It closes up and you don't know that there is a computer in the room

Office Armoire

I cant find ours anywamore on office max-we got it last year but we like it. It fits snugly in the corner because our apartment has this huge foyer/diningroom area that we turned into the office because we have an eat-in kitchen.

We like it but it seriously took forever to put together.
