Games-to give away the center pieces?

Did anyone play any wedding games to give away the center pieces?

For the people to win. One person told me you put numbers under each chair, and who ever is sitting in that chair wins the centerpiece. But, too many people know about this game and will cheat?

My DJ did a musical chairs type game.
He called out the youngest person at the table.
The youngest person at the table then shows their napkin and swings it in the air.
Then the DJ plays the music and the person with the napkin starts to pass it to the person next to them and so on. the table passes the napkin around until the music stops.
Who ever has the napkin when the music stops wins the centerpiece.

People were totally getting into it. It was alot of fun, but then again our DJ was phenominal and he made the whole thing so much fun.

a friend of mine used her favors to decide who got the centerpiece....you make one favor on each table different fromt he rest, and whoever sits at the seat with the special favor wins the centerpiece...it was cute

How bad am I that I didn't want to do anything? Let the guests fight it out!! LOL!!

My DJ questionnaire did have something like did I want it to go to the woman with the nearest birthday I think ...

our DJ tricked our poor guests..lol

Thats what the DJ did at my cousin's wedding and my sister won it!

My DJ was going to give it to the person with the birthday closest to the wedding date. But, being born in November myself, I always lost those games because most weddings I've been to are between April and September. So, it was my day and I told him to announce that the person with the birthday closest to my birthday gets the centerpiece.

I didn't really want to play a game because the reception goes so fast and I didn't want to take up the extra time.

I went to a wedding where the DJ annouced, who ever traveled the longest distance won it.
