Gardening Gift Basket for Christmas?

Sooo, my mom is incredibly difficult to shop for. She always buys herself stuff and never wants anything. She doesn't like to shop, always wears the same jewelry, doesn't wear make-up, cuts/dyes/styles her own hair, etc. The only things she really loves are baking/cooking, gardening, and dogs. The dog front is a little tricky right now since we had two dogs pass away this year and she's not ready for a new addition to the house. Baking and cooking she's pretty much set for. I did get her one of those gel chef's mats but I wanted to get her something more.

So, my co-worker and I came up with a gardening gift basket! I'm going to buy a big planter and put in it all gardening stuff! So here's what I came up with to go in so far:

-Garden Stepping Stones
-Garden Gnome or flag or decoration of sorts
-Gardening tool belt
-Gardening tools- the little rake thing, trowel, gloves, etc.
-Hat
-Assorted Seeds
-Fertilizer

Is there anything else you guys can think of to add in? Thank you for all your help!!!

Re: Gardening Gift Basket for Christmas?

Really nice gloves?

Solar powered little garden lanterns (sound so weird/andom but my paretns are really big into gardening and they're really cute - I will try to google)?

Pretty/decorative bird feeder/bird house?

Knee pad(s) for kneeling while gardening?

Love the large brimmed hat idea...very cute!

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and ask them--I am sure they would be happy to help!!!

PS, what a cute idea! Moms are so difficult to shop for, so I feel your pain .
