GeeGee827 and all animal lovers

Here is an Amazing Miracle....

Last week I received a frantic phone call from my brother freaking out because his kids rabbit wasn't moving he was breathing but was paralyzed!! My brother is not an animal lover but didn't want to see Baby Thunder suffer so he took him out of the cage and hand fed him. For the past week my brother hand feed and cleaned Baby Thunder. Well 8am this morning his girlfriend called and said Baby Thunder is regaining his movement!!!!!!!

Just wanted to share this story with you girls!!!

My brothers GF called her friend that gave them the rabbit and she said it was most likely traumatized and since they weren't home when it started they think their puppy jumped on the cage and scared him. Since it was eating and drinking they didn't want to go to the vet fearing the vet would right away put it down. Thank God they didn't!!!!

WOW that's some serious fear the poor bunny went through then!! OMG!! I hope they are keeping it separate from the dog when no one is home. Maybe even if they are home.

Too bad there's no such thing as bunny xanax.

Actually, my vet prescribed bunny valium for Sniffles when we moved. She's still a little traumatized by it.

She's 11 now so If she doesn't come right away when I call her or if she's sleeping sometimes I have to check to make sure she's alive!

oh and my ex-boyfriends sister had a rabbit that actually had a heart attack because he was so scared of a dog.

Rabbits actually have sensitive little hearts and since they're defenseless, they can actually be 'scared to death'

Its funny because I feel like I do know a lot of people with rabbits now. I never realized that before!

Yes, poor baby was traumatized by the move. She had never climbed stairs before and we have a split level house so there's stairs EVERYWHERE!

After living in the house for 2 months, she hops up the stairs (5 of them) from the den to the kitchen but won't go in the living room because she doesn't like the wood floors.

DH actually carries her up to bed with us every night - just one of the reasons why I love him. He puts her in bed with us for a little while and then we keep her in a cage in my room while we're sleeping.
