I just made a couple burgers on it and for some odd reason they all stuck to the dumb grill!! My efforts to scrape them off left me with only pieces of hamburger. What the hell is that? It's happened to me a couple times before and i always get soooo mad. But I don't know how to avoid it.
Anybody know what I might be doing wrong?? Has anybody else experienced this annoyance?
I did leave the raw meat in there for about 10 minutes before actually turning it on. Would that make it stick? I don't see why Like I said, it's only happened once or twice before. I don't get it.

Re: George Forman Grill - W.T.F??
do you spray your grill? I usually spray the GF with some pam before I use it and my food doesn't stick.

Sorry to crash but I always heat the grill before putting the meat on it...maybe that is part of the problem?

My DH said the same thing when he got home. It's odd because this happens very rarely even though i never used pam. You'd think it would happen ALL the time if that were the case. Oh well. I'll start doing that from now on, and see if that helps.
Thanks

I kind of had the same issues. I had used a chicken that had a bbq sauce marinade and the marinade just burned onto the grill. I thought the idea behind the GF was that it cut the fat, but was also non stick???

Heat the grill before you put the meat on it. That's why it sticks. Same applys to cooking in a pot or pan. Always pre-heat to avoid sticking.

Yeah the preheating is usually a big thing because while it's heating up everything sticks. You can also spray it or brush with oil.
