Getting Makeup done at Mac

Has anyone had their makeup done at Mac? I called and they said it's a $50 purchase.

I just bought makeup, so I don't need any right now.

How do they stop people from returning the $50 items after the makeup is done?

I had a trial at MAC and the girl said I didn't have to buy anything (I did tho), but I hear over and over that you need to buy at least $50 worth of products (not hard to do at MAC lol). She did a beautiful job but her prices to come to you and do your makeup were more than anyone I tried. I have gone to the MAC counter to have my eyes done for weddings also and they really know what they're doing (I don't! ). As far as returning makeup I have no idea, I never tried it....they might only allow you to exchange to keep the money in the store.

I got my makeup done once at mac count at the roosevelt field mall (at bloomingdales) and I dont think there was min $ amount but i had to buy a minimum of 2 or 3 products.

I did end up returning most of them so I don't think they have anything in place to keep you from returning.

My bf gets her it done at makeup all the time. You do have to make a minimum purchase of $50.00.

If there are other eyeshadow colors you like or a lipstick maybe you can get that.
