Getting marriage certiciate in the mail(UPDATE AT BOTTOM 10/27)

i still haven't received my marriage certificate my dh thinks i'm just anxious to get it that's why its taking so long. is there a number to call to see if there's a problem. i just called a number but u can't get a live person

It took about a month for ours to arrive...
married on 8/28
postmarked 9/22
arrived 9/25

We just got ours in the mail on Wednesday, October 11. Our wedding was on August 28th, but we were dealing with the Manhattan office, so I think that's why it took so long. Don't worry- you still have time!

it seems whoever got the license in nyc, it takes longer to get back

YUP. After calling and calling and calling first our priest to make sure he MAILED it to the right place, then the NYC branch, we finally got hold of a real person, who said 'I dont kow why but your marriage lisense WAS NEVER PROCESSED.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

ed: We got ours last week, and it was stamped oct 10.

we got a letter saying the license was sent back to them i think damaged. they want us to bring a 25.00 money with id to get a duplicate *** dh is going to call monday to get the full story

WE received ours a little after the wedding. There were plenty of typos, including DH name, so I called for a new one, the lady said it would be put in the mail the next day, that was over a month ago. I called 3 days ago again and she said she was sending, I got it today and the date of marriage is wrong, this is ridiculous, so I called AGAIN.

we have to redo it. the witness signed on the wrong line. that's where the rabbi told him to sign. we had to pay 25.00 to get a duplicate. so dh and i had to sign on the same line. the rabbi didn't put a letter in the envelope when he mailed it in to tell them that he knew about the error
