I just had to share that I feel like I'm getting married all over again with The Wedding Story airing in about an hour!! Pray that I didn't make an a$$ of myself!! You guys will have to let me know what you think when it's over!! Thanks!

As for not showing it because of pix of the Twin Towers, that to me is kind of stupid. They did exist after all and to me, it means by denying the existed, you're saying that all those people who lost their lives didn't exist either! My DH made me put a pix of them in our video and he's proud to have it there! Again, this is my opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone.

Ok, here is what happened. My DH is NYPD and was involved with the attacks on 9/11. He was down at ground zero for weeks after 9/11 working in the rubble. We also got engaged shortly after 9/11 b/c of the attacks. Part of the reason they picked us to be on the show was b/c they were doing shows dealing w/ 'American Heros' and we fit the image. Anyway, I was told to give them pictures of DH down at ground zero. He had very vivid pictures of the reckage and of him and his other cops down there. They were to be shown during the show. It wasn't actual shots of the twin towers, it was the aftermath. I honestly have no clue why that would get it pulled and why no one realized this or had the decency to let us know, but I guess they have their reasons. And our names were listed on the guide(digital tv) and on their website as airing today. Sorry if I inconvienced anyone! I'm kinda bummed

Oh don't be bummed!! Look at it this way, it wasn't meant to be on today, but another day!!! Will they let you know when they're going to air it? Please let us know, I'm looking forward to seeing it!!!

I had my friend upstate tape the show b/c I'm at work and I was going to see her this weekend! I'm sorry it was pulled. Hopefully it will be rescheduled.

It's fine. We can all watch next time. And don't even think twice about the brides who questioned whether your wedding was real or not. I found that to be a bit much. You have been on this board long enough for us to all take you at your word!

I remember too when they asked specifically for stories related to 9/11 and rescue workers associate with the aftermath. Sometimes at the last minute a pr person says not to air something. It happens a lot in television. We will all watch it next time.

What a bummer...but I'm kind of glad, I didn't realize until yesterday that I had packed our blank video tapes away for our move so I didn't get to set up my VCR. Now hopefully I'll be able to catch it.

I know this is starting to get old right:?! This has been the big question in my life lately! :) They finally sent us a tape(which I'm really happy with.) They said it will air sometime in May, around Memorial Day. I promise I'll keep you guys updated! Thanks for still being interested!!
