Hey girls, quick question, about how long after your official sends back the marriage license stating that he/she performed the ceremony do you get your actual marriage certificate?? I'm asking because they didn't mail out my license until about February 20 to the state and i'm eager to go and change my license and everything else to my new last name.

if im not mistaken.. i think we got ours back 2-3 weeks after the wedding.. i know he sent it out right after the wedding.

our was sent two after the wedding, we got it when we came back from our honeymoon.

We got ours in early January. it was probably delayed for a bit though b/c of the holidays.

Ditto. I'd say it took about 8 days. All depends upon the town hall it was mailed to.

We left for our 1 week HM the day after the wedding and it was waiting for us when we returned. So, less than 2 weeks after the wedding.

I got married the same day as you and got it on Valentines Day.
