I'm going to a Briss next month, & I've never been to one before. I was wondering what an appropriate gift would be? Should I treat it like a baptism and get a savings bond?
TIA!

I've never been to one either, but I think a savings bond would be good.

It's a Jewish ceremony where they circumcise the child in the home..... I was invited to go, so I was wondering if I had to give a gift.

I think money is fine, but the savings bond thing is cool too.

The interest rates on savings bonds now SUCK - its like 1% and it takes 14 years or somethign to mature. You're better off giving cash.

do they have a registry? If they do, anything off the registry would be much appreciated by the parents being that they didn't have a shower, well I assume, since they're jewish.
