November 2, DH and I are going to my co-worker's son's christening. She and I are pretty close (at least as co-workers go), but I am very unsure what to give! It's at a restaurant, so are we supposed to give enough to cover both our plates, or doesn't that matter? I was thinking maybe a $50 bond?

Re: Gift help for a Christening?
The last Christening we went to (my cousin's daughter) we gave $100. It was also in a restaurant. I thought that was sufficient.

That is the average. Or cash if they want to put it an account.

I usually give a bond and get an engraved picture frame or bank from Things Remembered.

Re: Gift help for a Christening?
the last christening we went to we gave $200 and the one before that we gave $250. It depends on how close we are to the couple and where they have it...
