I just posted this and then I realized that you might be able to tell me! What's a 'good tip' considered?

lol sure!!!!!! tech they r not supposed to take tips..sanitation i mean..but they do lol

tommy ac tually just got a tip of 20 bucks that him and the partner split..

i would say 30 bucks is really generous...so 15 for each guy or girl

he really doesnt get alot of tips so if he gets 5 bucks hes super happy

oh and as 4 our mailman..we gave him 50 bucks...he is really good to us he always takes our packages back to post office for us and we always have a ton of mail

we gave our san man 50 also but we always have alot of garbage too lol

The sanitation pick-up in my neighborhood has three guys on the truck so would you do $10 per person? And how do they get the tips? Do the people hand them to them or do they attach an envelope on the trash can?

my hibs got a card with the money in it and the family came out and gave it to them....i think 10 per person is a great tip

i mean dh told me they get maybe 3 or 4 tips at all so they r happy with whatever they get

Thank you so much G!!! I was going to tip them each like $50 or $100 I had no idea! lol I just want them to be a little more respectful of our property and actually take the garbage. If this doesn't do it then next year they get zilch!

Our mailman is awesome! He used to ask me advice from when I moved in here because his daughter got engaged and he was so excited for their wedding but they are eloping to Tahiti and having a big congrats party when they are back. Anyway so we got friendly and if it's raining or supposed to he will put our packages in plastic bags and always puts big envelopes and packages inside the front door and rings the bell because he knows I'm home.

My BIL is a sanitation worker for TOB alot of times people will tape an envelope with a tip to the inside of the garbage can cover. That way you don't have to worry about getting up super early to hand deliver it
