I cant believe our anniversary weekend is almost here.
When are you guys defrosting your cakes? What do you have planned?

I know i am so excited, i think i am going to defrost our cake that friday b4 our anniversary.
we are going to baltimore for the weekend.
Do you and the hubby have anything planned?

Ya its so soon! DH and I ate our cake already- we didn't plan to save it so we ate it for breakfast with my parents the day we left for our honeymoon. LOL. it was too good to wait!
Unfortunitly DH agreed to play trumpet for a production his old high school is doing. We thought the performances were the weekend before our anniv. but nope- its the weekend of. So I will be going to the show by myself I guess on our anniversary. And if it gets done at a erasonable time, we will go to a late dinner. if not, we will go home and call it a night. Im not happy.

Ohhh nice, we are going to the Poconos. We found this really nice place so its close enough for a quick getaway. Ok I guess I will put the cake out that Thursday or something. I know it will be utterly gross since we didnt wrap it properly lol.

Well you guys can always have a toast after his concert and if it's too late, go to a nice dinner the next day. I know it must be frustrating for you.

the next day he has to be in the studio, so we cant really do it then. ANd the night before he has rehearsal for the show. So I am hoping thwe show starts at like 7. And is done by like 9:30, 10. Cus then we are probably going to Rein Bar for drinks and some snacks. But if it starts at 8, then it may be to late to get food by the time its over. Im just sad cus I will never have another first anniversary. And I ahd been so excited and was actually planning a weekend away and we were about to book it and then DH went to rehearsal and found out when the shows actually were. Guess its good I didn't end up booking anything!

we are thinking the same thing, that the cake prob wont be all that yummy, but we will try. We wrapped it in foil, then put it in a ziploc freezer bag

I hope and pray that after the one year mark that will finally stop. But that means that then everything will be 'when are the kiddies coming'

ya I dont think the qustions end till you have 2 kids. Cus after the first it is probably going to be questions about when you will have another!

Did you defrost your cake? How was it?
Yup you joined the club finally. I did defrost it and it tasted a little like freezer on the outside but the inside was still delicious.
