GIRLS WHO DON'T WORK

Is there anyone here who doesn't work anymore? I have had the past 2 days off of work...and I am bored out of my mind. If anyone doesn't work...how do you fill your days?

do you have a list of things you 'always wanted to do' but couldn't because of work? Like take a class...or volunteer somewhere?
Or a hobby you never had enough time for?
(i do work...but am self employed so i can my time is very flexible..and i can work in things like morning classes)

i havent worked since last july. i lost my job right after my HM. i was on unemployment for a year, but since the end of this july, i found one job, stayed there for 3 weeks, hated it, had to leave, and now after going on interviews about 2-4x a week, i JUST finally landed a job FT.

i also would work at a bakery for extra $ for things like my hair and nails...... and ive been going to school at night so during the day i'd be sooo bored, but i would still have Homework here and there to work on and laundry to do and cleaning, but i 'd rather be doing that than working!

I mean, If I had a child, or if I had a bunch of friends that didn't work that would be one thing. But I've been home for 2 days and I've spend about $800 because the only thing to do is shop..lol.

haha i dreeeeeam of having off!

I would clean the house every day.. like soup to nuts, nazi cleaning...

then id look up some recipes and teach myself how to friggin cook!

that's a good idea. I always wanted to take cooking classes and become a master chef..

I fill may days with doctoral classes, studying clinical psych. Keeps me busy!!

I work full time now but at one point when I left my old job I was unemployed for 3 months! It was the best!!! I had soooo much time for stuff... during that time I would sleep late, go to the gym every day, clean up around the house, call & visit friends, write my thesis paper and anything else I felt like doing...I had time for everything and I felt great. I miss it!

I haven't worked since the school year ended last June. I moved back from NC and haven't found a teaching job so I'm home all day by myself. I'm so glad I discovered LIW !

I should start working next week- just got put on the sub list!

I sub at a nearby school, as a lunch monitor, but with my time, I'm chasing my 15 month old son Blake around my house. Keeps me fit, and we have alot of fun . The day flys by

I'm an actress..so I'm always taking classes and auditioning. I no longer work a 'real' job though...thank god!

I wish I could stay home. I would be able to keep my house spotless. I would take course that I have always wanted to take. Play Tennis daily. I would volunteer at Missing & Exploited Children because they dont need anymore on weekends.

I do not work for over a month and I AM LOVING IT! The funny thing that I am never at home ( shopping in the city ), but I am so happy that I do not have to go to work, to tolerate stupid boss, etc

i hardly work (my job is VEEEEEEEERY quiet...)

I also drove myself crazy when I was home with my son after he was born (7 years ago)

I started painting again... the internet helped my boredom... haha

me 2... this sounds like this would be sooo me & I would LOVE to have some time off!
