ok Im seriously concidering doing this... my friends fiance just got it done and her hair looked awesome...
ok so my hair is curly, but pretty fine... a lot of people dont realize that i have thin hair, because for some reason i gives off a thicker look, but its really not...
ive been trying to grow my hair out forever! but it never seems to grow past the point it is now! i got for my regular trims, and all that, but its been the same lenght FOREVER!!
i heard it makes your hair really healthy and helps it grow because it doesnt get damaged easily...
you think i should do it? is it going to make my hair super flat? does it take the curl out completely?
any recomondations on where to go get it done on LI? and about how much does it cost?

Jess I had it done back in September. If your hair is fine or thin it will take all the curl out. I personally have pretty thick hair (wavy) and it totally flattened it out. I liked the results, but since I stink at hair and don't know how to curl it myself, it was always sooooo straight and thin. It did really strengthen my hair and heal it almost, from all the highlights and stuff I get. Good luck!!

I recommend getting it done.. Ive had it done 2 times and wanna have it done again. It doesn't take the curl out of ur hair just the frizz. My hair is super thick and curly and it made it easier to blow out. My SIL does it at a salon in Westbury. Lemme know if you are interested.

Ive had it done over 6 times already....my hair is really curly and it is still curly bit not as tight of curls.....its not permanent and they say it lasts for 4 months but at first mine didnt....
there are different brands and I have found I get the best results from the kind you wash out right away and dont have the 24 hr - 4 day waiting time.
I get it more done in the summer since it will take the frizz out of your hair with the humidity.

I've heard it's AMAZING for wavy hair but mine was too curly. It relaxed it but it didn't make it straight and it felt like it wore off too quickly.

also just wanted to add that the Keratin Treatment is not a straightener....if you want your hair pin straight then you have to do Japanese...its more of a relaxer and it keep it the way it looks at the beginning you have to get it done at least 4-5 times a year

i dont really care if my curls stay in a little, im just looking for something to get rid of the frizz, and keep it healthy so it can grow...
im just nervous cuz my hair is really fine that there will be no body and it will look horrible because it will be so flat

I have fine curly hair as well and the keratin treatment didnt decrease the volume or lack of volume I had it just reduced the frizz and makes it easier to blow dry straight.
