How are the videos sectioned off?

While we're waiting on our proofs we're putting album/thank you card/enlargement decisions on hold, and I'd like to start moving on the video end of it. DH wants to be in charge of this because he likes to edit videos himself, but if I leave it to him to get the info we'll be celebrating our 3 year anniversary.

I know we need to pick 4 songs, but when are they played? Was it getting ready, ceremony, and 2 for reception? That still wouldn't equal 45 minutes so I'm confused, I guess some parts don't have a musical background?

I assume the party itself will use the music from yoru party

What do you mean by photo shoot and cocktail hour? I guess I remember them taking some video when we were taking pics, but I don't think they were in CH at all? Was that CH and reception combined? And there's no ceremony?

I guess I'll find out for sure when DH gets a response email...I'm terrible with picking songs because I'm so neutral with music, that's why I left this project to him lol.

The ceremony doesnt have musical background..so you can hear it completely..

The video itself i believe was about 1 1/2 hour long..
you get the unedited version and 3 copies of an edited version with songs..

I was happy with the video - i cried like a sourpuss watching it.. But i made the mistake to watch it alone when i got the package so my hubby is so mad at me and refuses to watch it..lol

No, I didn't pick the songs yet because we weren't sure when the songs would be playing exactly, so we wanted to clarify that first so we could pick appropriate songs. I'm really eager to start on the video process...we already have seen our pics, and now I'm chomping at the bit to see everything in motion lol. How long approximately did it take to receive the completed video after you sent the song choices?

I have video of me getting ready- and i picked the song..
From this moment by shania twain..

Then it continues to us arriving at Leonards.. and then seeing each other for the first time..

It continues with shots taken at leonards..

Then ceremony (no music)
Then cocktail hour (frank sinatra fly me to the moon)
Then off to the PARTY.. ....Our entrance... reception...

Then it ends with recap- and pics- along with Amazed by lonestar..

I did NOT notice the video guy taking pics with his video camera while Tom was shooting away..i was shocked at what he captured..

But AFTER i got him the songs..i would say about 4 weeks..

4 weeks? wow. I gave him my songs about the week of xmas & he told me 10-14 weeks!

I gave him songs 10-14 weeks after the wedding...lmao..so maybe he had worked on it already and just needed the songs..lol
