Was there anything to do at night? I hear there is not nightlife and am worried we will be bored at night

To be honest, due to the time difference, you will be exhausted by 7pm every night!!! We had full days of excursions so we never felt like we lacked night life. There are some Tahitian shows at night though!

We did an excurion everyday, so we would take a nap when we got back
There wasn't much to do at night . We just went to dinner late and enjoyed watching the sunset and being the two of us.

i agree!! we never missed the nightlife! there was way too many other things going on like the beauty of the island... we took things very slow... when you go to dinner in bora bora, you pretty much take a boat ferry and then a van, so dinner is an excursion in itself.. by the time you get back to your room, well.. you can figure out the rest
i would bring a bottle of vodka and just mix some drinks in your room...

Also - I told her that we bought liquor from the local store and one night had some couples that we made friends with and had them @ our bungalow. We had a blast, we brought chairs out on the deck from inside, put on the i pod -ordered in room service w/appetizers , opened all the doors and windows. and.. I lit the place with candles...
GOOD TIMES
Infact...so good our neighbor bungalow friend got sick over our balcony I think he fed the fish

yup we were in bed at like 9:30 everynight and so was everyone else. There you wake up with the sun and go to sleep At sunset which is l;ike at 6. It gets dark really early. We made our dinner reservations later so we would be up later. nThe excusrions are awsome!
