Has anyone been to Glo (formerly known as Mirage) night club in Westbury? My cousin wants to go out dancing for her bachelorette party but doesn't want to go into the city. Mirage used to play a lot of house music on Saturday nights, but now that the ownership has changed I don't know if it's the same type of atmosphere. The pictures on the website look really cool, but does anyone know about the music? We would prefer a place with more hip-hop and dance music rather than house music.
If not Glo, does anyone have other suggestions for a good place to go on LI? Thanks!

I think its pretty much the same as when it was Mirage...if she doesnt want to go to the city its a good option

i havent been there since it was mirage....i used to go to ladies night on wednesdays.....that was fun!
but on the weekends i never really liked the crowd/men there.....very dirty minded men always trying to ride every girls as s there and once i had to get security for a big sweaty italian man trying to dance with my girlfriend and she was sooo not interested and he started threatening and cursing at me when i told him she was not interested....
i hope its changed because it is a very nice place with lots of bar space and good music

Oooh, not a fan of big sweaty Italian men! haha I guess I can always call them and ask what type of music they play on Sat nights. I know there used to be a good club in the Garden City Hotel also... what is it called now? I think that might be a little young though...
