Go to DMV and bring Marriage License, anything else???

Is that all you need to do to get new ssn card, license? etc.? Do they keep the one you have or do they make a copy?

You don't go to DMV to get a new SS card. You have to go the SSA office for that.

But for the DMV you should bring your license, marriage license, registration so you can do your car title right then and there also. If you have something else with your married name on it already (i.e. a cc bill, a utility bill) it won't hurt to bring that too.

Some other things to remember to change (Just show proof, bring/submit your Marrage Licence and/or photo ID with new info, of course ):

-Social Security I went down in person and they took my old SS card and destroyed it
-DMV Also I went down in person and they took my drivers license and gave me a temporary one

-Work Documents: Paycheck, 401K, Beneficary Forms
-Credit Cards (call them, but I did it over the phone)
-Insurance: Medical, Dental, Car
