Going to Boston Saturday

Can anyone recommend a great restaurant in Boston? It's DH's birthday Saturday so we're going for the weekend.

My brother went to college in Boston, and if I remember correctly...

I think there's a good restaurant called The Capital Grille

Capital Grille is great...but we like Fleming's better. :) Seriously though, I've been living here for going on 5 years now...just tell me a food type and I'll give ya some suggestions!

Cap Grille is good but its a chain.

I recommend:
No 9 Park - New American
Mistral - New American/French
Grill 23 (better than Capital Grille) - Steakhouse
Abe & Louie's - Steakhouse
Union - New American
Via Matta - Italian
Limoncello - North End. Italian.
Olives - in Charlestown. Todd English joint. Very good.
Tangierino - in Charlestown is great too. Moroccan food with belly dancers & a hooka lounge.

Grill 23 is one of my favorites!

Cottonwood is good - but Mexican not sure if you would like that.

ok for Italian, you go to the North End. Here is a website of all the restaurants within the 2 block radius knows as the North end. North end

You almost can't get a bad meal there but here are my favorites:

Giacomo's- GREAT food BUT no reservations, cash only. (no website either)

Carmen Small, quiet, cute, on a back street. Very nice owners and very good food.

Lucca

Antico Forno Not as fancy but the food is solid.

Also good Italian but not in North End:
Sorellina

I would stay away from Strega, personally. Its VERY popular & trendy & all that jazz but the actual food isn't good.
