Is there any polite way to tell someone to stop chewing gum and popping it in my ear!!!!!!!!!???

OMG OMG OMG that is my BIGGEST pet peeve!! My friend's remedy was to start chewing the same way in the hopes that the other person would catch on. lol. I just give dirty looks and huff and puff a lot.

OMG! It is the most annoying sound in the world to me when people chew anything with their mouths open. I can't stand it! I don't even understand how they don't hear themselves!

OMG! That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I honestly dont believe there is a nice way to ask them to stop so I actually will come straight out and ask them!

You said this was someone you liked, right? Try and say it in a joking way, but seriously. ETA: Usually people who do this realize that it's annoying. Somewhere along the way, there has been someone who had no problem letting them know it was annoying. You may just need to look at her and be like 'could you please stop?'

If at work/school...say excuse me but can you stop popping your gum..it's really distracting...or replace distracting with 'annoying'
