Gonna KILL American Airlines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHH!!! I've been on hold for 15 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's no way to cancel a flight on their website. They have this impossible phone system to get through!!! This is never going to happen!! I need to cancel two flights for credit, then rebook different flights. It's for a business trip at the end of the month. This is crazy!!!!

OMG Legs - you have NO IDEA how much they $uck! They totally screwed up our HM flights - LONG LONG story - but if want to ever hear of our hell - let me know - I actually wrote a 3 page letter to CEO of Amer Airlines - that's how bad the experience was & we got a $300 voucher as an apology

So this has nothing to do with changing flights but still American Airlines related...

I played cello for most of my life, and I once saw them TOSSING IT onto the ground from the baggage part of the plane (it was a small plane), as if it was no big deal. Thank goodness I invested in a really expensive case! They paid for the damage for the case, but I have such a bad taste in my mouth for American Airlines after that!

Did you see the video on youtube about the guy who's guitar was thrown (it was a different airline, I forget which but think United). It was broken, he tried to get them to resolve it, they wouldn't, so he made 2 (and is making a third) video about the whole situation and it has tons of hits, and he is now on a speaking tour about it.

oh . . here is my advice. . (having had to cancel and rebook THREE flights during these snowstorms) Call their advantage number (the one for frequent fliers) your not supposed to use it if you're not super premium or whatever but usually they will just answer anyway and let you slide!!

I tried that after I was on hold with Delta for AN HOUR!!!!

American Airlines Stinks!!!
Its the only Airline I have ever had a problem with and EVERY single time I flew with them it was a different problem. They are Horrible and I avoid them at all costs!!

PCU was just on HBO and they were charging $2 for numbah 1 and $4 for numbah 2! And that was back in the early 90's! That's some serious $$ to use the bathroom at a party!!!

I sense though, that it is the direction AA is heading!!!
We had SOOOOO many issues coming home from the HM on AA. It was insane!! I will now try to avoid flying AA.

also I have a friend who's husband is a pilot and he says their planes arent' safe and to avoid them!

WOW!! this is seriously one of the scariest things to hear!!!! It's def going to stick with me.

They were terrible tyrants about carry on luggage. They try to make you check your carry on so they can charge you more. They were sooo awful. When we went to check the carry ons they ended up refunding us for the the luggage we had just paid (like $120 at least) because apparently when you go international it's free..... what was wrong with the stupid B who charged us on the way there and never told us??? I hate AA!!!

Now I shall avoid them for sure. A plane crash isn't my ideal way to go.
