My leg skin is, like, peeling off - its disgusting. I put cream on it, and in an hour its dry again. Is there something that you girls have tried that actually WORKS?

Re: Good cream
Vaseline it up tonight Heather - glob it on and then saram wrap it for a few hours or overnight if you can sleep with saran wrap on you (I don't think I could). That should hydrate it pretty well. I really like vaseline intensive care or moisture total moisture .... i buy a 3 pack at bjs and it's like $8 I think. but it's cheap at like cvs too, and it works. my hands are like sandpaper and for some reason I didn't think to use it on them until yesterday, I know it will help. the bath and body works stuff i've been using is crap. and stinky (coconut lime verbena - ok on my legs but a no go on the hands, ugh).

Not sure, but you can choose by skin type. That might help you choose one if someone else here doesn't recommend one. Not sure if they still do it, but they used to give you a few samples of your choice when you order on-line.
ETA: Superbly Restorative Body Lotion sounds like it may be good for you.
Oh no, Creme de Corps sounds like a good one! I think the other one is fragranced...not sure if you'd like that. This one says for extremely dry, flaking skin!

Re: Good cream
I'm going for a spa pedicure at 4 today, and they wrap your legs in saran... hopefully that will help a little bit, and then I'll just have to keep up a routine at home... I wish it would get a little warmer so my skin wasn't gonig to fall off!

Re: Good cream
buy aquaphor and rub it on your legs before you go to bed. Just be sure to wear long pants cus teh stuff is thick. Or maybe try doing the same thing with vaseline. And dont take hot showers.

I cant live without it. I use it on my lips too. And my cuticals. And my hands when they are like sooooo dry. I need to buy the big tub of it and use it on my legs. LOL. Oh and I have used it on my feet to. its the greatest stuff! I started using it before my wedding last year. My lips were so so chapped and like peeling. I was so upset cus I ahd the wedding coming up and my friend swore by it and I started using it and its the only thing that helpped. I had tried A LOT of other stuff. Kiehls, chapstick, burts bees, soft lips, blistex, and a ton of others and it was the only one that helped.

I think its the best. Bed bath adn beyond sells it in teh sample size (I've never seen it elsewhere) and i like to keep that in my makeup case in my pocketbook.

Re: Good cream
This is what I use when I get out of the shower-it's so thick but not greasy when you put it on. I love it. They have other scents but I prefer the unscented, especially this time of year.
ETA: It's Bliss-I get it at Sephora. $35 for 8.5 oz. I bought it in October and still have half the tube left.
Me too...it has dimethicone which seals in moisture. The peeling is actually dead skin. Try to loofah it off in the shower first, then apply Aveeno or another mosturizer to seal in moisture and prevent it from occurring

I really like ahava, it's a little pricey but it works really well.
Ahava is AMAZING! Especially Dermud. All Ahava products have minerals from the Dead Sea and they work miracles on dry skin. It's pricey but worth it. Think about how much $ you spend on drugstore type products that dont work.
