Good Italian Restaurants in Manhattan

Anyone know of any? Preferably in Little Italy.

Cucina D'Pesce (sp?) It's on 4th I believe between 2nd and 3rd. Cute and Charming restaurant with great food!

Mostos is good. It's on 2nd ave and 9th I believe. There's also a good one directly across the street. There seem to be a lot of good Italian restaurants in that area.

Carmines and i also love my personal favorite, is Umberto's.. It is in Little Italy..

Becco-- 46 th between 8th and 9th. The have an awesome prix-fix that includes caesar salad or antipasto along wiith unlimited servings of the three pastas of the day, which are served tableside. Yum!

I didnt even think of little Italy. Why not go there. I heard the foods delicious. Ive never been there though so I cant recommend any places. I am going to carmines though this weekend. A huge point with carmines is they do not accept reservations for under 6 and they always have a wait.

Little Italy Il Cortile 125 Mulberry Street. The best Italian food I have ever eaten. Stefano-the manager makes you feel like you are family.

Great wine list too. Zagat rated.

I think anywhere on Mulberry st (Little Italy) will be very good.

One of my favorites is Monte's in Greenwich Village - I think it is on MacDougal.
