Good News about FIL
Incase you dont remember, I posted on LIF about FIL possibly needing a Kidney Transplant and DH wanting to give him his kidney - I was pretty upset about it.
Well anyway his latest renal scan shows the tumor has not grown and his doctors say to keep doing what he is doing and dont worry about anything right now. FIL and I talk email alot and he told me he would not take DH's kidney if it came down to that. DH says he wouldnt have a choice. But anyway, the point is he is doing ok right now and we will reapproach this when the time is right.
Also his dad has been seeing a hollistic doctor who has also been monitoring his illnesses and put him on a special diet and has helped him to lose 60 pounds in 11 months!! We are so happy he has turned around his eating habits, espcially because he is a diabetic. He also has eliminated several of his medications, blood pressure, etc so overall his health may be getting better. His kidneys will never be back to normal but all we can do is hope and pray that he lives a long life. We are staying positive!!! Thanks for all your positive words a few weeks ago when I was in panic mode.
