Good news/Bad news

So, my school is closed today due to weather (I'm in MA).

The bad news? I came in to do some paperwork. I am the only one here and we are having a flood of icy rain coming in underneath the stairs.

I have a feeling I will be getting to know the shop-vac REAL well...

Oh well, I called for reinforcements and I hope they get here soon.

you guys are canceled? How bad did Boston get hit? I'm in Providence & everything turned to rain & ice this morning

It is ICY.

2 hour delay for elementary schools and preschool (where I work) is closed.

that stinks!!!!

So, my school is located in an old church building and the priest came to help with the water. Poor man was soaked to the skin after clearing the drain and was looking for a T shirt to change into. Since everything in our lost and found is child sized, I had to send him home in one of our painting smocks. I felt bad, but couldn't help smiling at his 'artistic' button down.
