Good thing I am a house stalker

We are planning on doing major renovations on our house so whenever I am driving I am constantly GAWKING at all the houses as I drive.

Yesterday on the way to pick up DH I was doing just that and I notice there was a little girl riding her tricycle past a driveway - that a van was backing out of.

This van was 2 seconds away from rolling over this poor child I started blaring my horn and thank GOD the person slammed on their brakes.

You can bet from now on I will be checking my blind spot 700000 times before pulling out of our driveway!

I'm new to my area and now that it's spring I see kids out and about....and I just hate how parents are letting their kids ride bikes on this back street...there are no sidewalks and there's kids all over this street that people use to avoid the main road so there are lots of cars just speeding through....freaks me out every time I see kids riding in the middle of the road!!! Totally terrifies me!

i cringe when i see kids on bikes now....drivers are so distracted with cellphones & crap it's not like it was when we were kids! Thank god you were there!
