got an interview
Sooo... i'm heading back into the work force. I guess I'm happy about it, but more so I'm just NERVOUS! It's been awhile since I've been a teacher. I left my old job (a place that I LOVED) back in June and since then have just been doing part time things until I moved outta NY. Now that we're settled, I've begun looking around. I just got so comfortable with my schedule right now - I really wish we could afford for me to be a house wife. Man, that would be great. I always got soooo much done! I'm gonna miss that. lol.
But this job seems pretty good. Horrible pay though!! (at least 2 or 3 dollars LESS an hour than what I made in NY). I guess that was to be expected though when I moved to CO.
I went in today to meet the director and see the school. She liked me, so I'm being passed on to her boss for an interview on Wednesday morning. Ah!! I HATE interviews!!! They're always so awkward, and such dumb questions are asked like 'your weakness, strength, blah, blah, blah'. I sometimes feel like it's just a game & a huge waste of time since they've gotta realize that I'm only telling them what they wanna hear. But oh well. Hopefully that all goes good. It's just gonna be rough getting back into the whole swing of things. But I'll probably enjoy it after I get comfortable, as I usually do.
Any prayers would be helpful. I'm super nervous about it.
And of course - any tips on the interview process I would definitely appreciate. I notebooked that old link
Interview Tips which has helped. But if anybody has anything to add - bring it!
Thanks
