Well, I'm not 100% happy. Some pages are fantastic, some really need help. How much back and forth did you have to do with your photographer to get it right?
ETA: And did anyone exchange pictures -meaning did you take any out and add others in their place?

We actually met with our photographer tonight (to pick up proofs). They said when it's time for the layout, in no way does it go to print unless we're 100% happy with it.
Definitely speak to them about making it right. I'm sure they'll have no problem working with you.

I would do as much back and forth as needed. You shouldnt settle for anything less than perfect for something like this.

I did the design myself but it took me a long time to get it the way I wanted. If i had someone else doing it, it would have probably taken at least 20 versions.

i posted this a couple weeks ago - i got my layout from duet - loved some pages - but hated others ---
im a graphic designer - so what i did was the pages io wasnt happy with i rel;ayed out myself - i was very pleased with the result too!!
i brought the changes that i wanted done to duet and they were fine with them - and the album came out exactly like i wanted to.
in relaying it out i changed and added some pictures...do a search for me and you can see how i relaid the album out - feel free to 'borrow' any layout ideas that i redid
my best recomendation is instead of emailing things back and forth to just arrange a meeting and tell them in person - makes the whole thing much easier..

Honestly, we didn't even care that much by the time we got the layout. I was a designer for 4 years and I just couldn't be bothered making changes. It was beautiful and though I'm sure I could have improved upon it, I just didn't bother. I know that sounds horrible, but I just didn't feel like reworking the whole thing.

I have the same issues with mine. I'm doing a lot of changing pictures, but it's taken me weeks so the whole process is taking a LOONNNGGG time.

There were a few pages I wasn't happy with, and it took a few MONTHS back and forth to fix a few pages. If you are really that uphappy I would try to go there to go over it because it is going to take a long time to do it over email.
