Got my Albums Yesterday!

Wow! It's all really over now! In a few weeks we'll be married a year..I can't believe it. The albums are gorgeous. I'm really happy with them. Now if I can just get my gown cleaned and preserved....can you believe me?

Got my Albums Yesterday!

Wow, I can't believe it took that long, is it me or was I just lucky. I got married 8 months ago and have my albums for about a month and a half now. Well congratulations! isn't so much fun looking at them in the book, blown up? It's like a totally different picture. Lots of luck and Happy (early) Anniversary!

Lee I'm with you on the dress,

I bought mine at a sample sale and due to the material it cost me $450.00 to clean it the first time...
I want to save my dress but I just can't part with that money again. I wish I had taken better care of it that day... my dress is a mess!
I have a feeling I'm never going to do it -

I can't believe how bad I am!

No cleaning, no preserving, what's wrong with me! Maybe before my first anniversary...I have 3 weeks!

Finally got my dress from the cleaners!

I took my dress to the dry cleaner the day after my wedding in September. However I completely forget about it or never had the money ($250) when I remembered. This past Monday I came home from work and there was a big box sitting in the middle of the living room. It was my dress. My hubby (who knows I am a great procrastinator) decided to just go pick it up himself before the dry cleaner sold it!! In all honesty I am not sure that I would have cared if they did. It's a lot of money for a dress that no one will ever wear again. Now it will just in a box in the attic forever.

still haven't done mine...

and in July it'll be two years.
I didn't spill anything on it- maybe I can get away with it until someone else wears it????

At least yours made it to the cleaners!!!!

Mine was sitting on the floor in my room until last week when I brought it to my mother's and hung it on the door in my old room!! Let's see how long it'll stay there. I really have to get it cleaned because it's filthy. My photographer had me on the floor all day and night!!

Can I ask you how much it cost to clean it? Did you preserve it also? I've gotten prices anywhere from $90 to $200 -- funny how no two dry cleaners charge the same price!

Gown cleaning price

I paid (or should say will be paying... when I finally go get it!) $250 to have it cleaned and boxed. It kills me to part with so much money for cleaning and boxing a dress!

Gown cleaning price

I....well my husband, paid $250 to have it cleaned (and it was dirty dirty because it wasn't hemmed correctly)preserved and boxed. I know what you mean JennRenee about it being so much money!! I felt the same way.

$130.00 ? Who is your dry cleaner?

I would like to know where you got your dress cleaned, that sounds like a reasonable price. Where you please with the quality of the job? Please let us know, Thanks.

I haven't picked it up yet, so I can't comment on the quality. I forget the name cause my mom droppped it off! But I know its on the Queens / Nassau border in Bellerose and I can find out the name if you like.
