I LOVE people LMAO..

Y’all know I work reception right? So I handle about 70 lines. Well, people will call and if they don’t get the answer they want, they call again on a different line. When I answer, they ask me the same question and always say “I just spoke to someone but she wasn’t helpful. I need…” and I cut them off and say pleasantly, all sugar and light, “Yes you spoke to ME. I am the receptionist and as I helpfully said earlier when you called before, so and so is BUSY but they WILL get back to you as soon as it is possible for them to. That is all I can offer you as they do not have an assistant and I do not have access to their schedule. I will be sure to relay your message however if they pass me on their way out. Would you like to leave that voicemail now?”

At that point they usually do but its sooo funny. They wanted to “tattle” on me because I didn’t bend over and kiss their entitled butts. HELLO, you may have what DH calls “Fawk you” money (meaning they’re so rich they can tell anyone to fawk off) but I work for men who have WAY more Fawk you moola and so do their wives lmao.

We’re bigger fawkwheads than you so just LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!

I hate when people call and start off a conversation by yelling yes or sighing deeply and then just rambling. Do we not live in a civilized society can you please start off a conversation with a HELLO. At least if you say hello I won't hate you right away.

PS I do not work in Stop N Shop we do not have a paging system. If one more person asks me to page someone...... If you want them call their line not mine!!!

Lmao but SOME OF THESE PEOPLE!!! OMG liek this one guy Randy, who is always calling me and trying to talk to my boss. He's got some bucks so he thinks he should get priority. HOWEVER i have an actual persons of priority list LMAO and he ain't on it!

He thinks he is but um NOPE and he will call me 100 times a day getting mad my boss didnt call him back. The best is we now have call waiting so I'll say 'Randy you love me alot today. I feel warm all over' when I see him calling lmao. He gets all startled.

HELLO folks. Been receptionist since august. Not going anywhere just yet. It WILL be me answering your call so learn my blasted name if you want to harrass me!
