it's days like today that make me super happy DH is MINE!
i had a board meeting at 8am, which i was only able to be at for 1 hr because i had to come home, get in the car and drive an hour and a half to sit through a 4 hour orchestra rehearsal and then drive back. so, after a full week of work, i've pulled a 12 hr day on a saturday.
i come home to find a glass of wine waiting for me and DH is cooking a huge dinner AND actually baking a cake for dessert (he's not a baker). i tried to offer him some help because i felt bad he was doing all this work and he shoo-ed me out of the kitchen and wouldn't let me!
he is the BEST

Aww that is so sweet. My DH does that's when he knows I had a bad day. It cheers me up. Hope everything tasted great and the cake too!!

awwe that's so awesome! tell dh he's got the liw stamp of approval (and then ask if he can come over to queens & teach my dh his skills.. lol.) but enjoy it! go get some lovin' on too!

Aww Randi how wonderful. Good to hear he took control when you needed the pampering.
Oh and I just saw pictures of your new short and darker hair cut during your NYE celebration. I LOVE IT .
