Gown Preservation

Does anyone have a suggestion of where to go for gown cleaning and preservation, including price? I bought my dress at Kleinfeld's, but their preservation company charges $400-700!

Re: Gown Preservation

I took mine to the my bridal salon, who is a vendor of Wedding Gown Preservation Company . It cost me $139 to get my gown and veil preserved with a 20 year guarantee, and the dress was in a pretty box. I felt it was worth the money.

Re: Gown Preservation

Thanks girls. I am glad to hear that you were all happy with your dresses which sound like they were preserved at reasonable prices. I actually got my invitations from Kathy, so I think I'll look into that first.

Re: Gown Preservation

I brought mine to my cleaners....they managed to clean all the mud stains off the bottom of my dress and put it in this grogeous box with a window (with a velcro sealed door to keep the light from hitting it). They charged 135 dollars. Was a bit nervous to leave the dress with them, but they did such a great job, would recommend it anyone. Of course, I dropped it off to them in April and they finally finished it in July!!!
