gown preservation

Where did everyone get their dress cleaned and preserved? Did you do it where you bought your gown? Any suggestions on where to go?

I brought it to Jim Dandy Cleaners in Wantagh. They clean it and preserve it and put it in a box with acid free paper. It cost $150 and takes a few weeks

Stylon Cleaners on Merrick Road in Baldwin across from Lillette's. He does the pressing and cleanign for Lillette's also, but does regular dry cleaning too! He's great and a friend of the family...ask for Tom :)

I brought it to the cleaners in West Islip. I have to pick it up still so I don't know how good it came out yet. I paid $95.00

I just went to my local cleaner. They said it would take about 2 months for it to come back. I still haven't gotten it back yet.

I just picked mine up today and it came out so good. I just didn't know it would come in such a big box. I have to find room for it.
