OK.. wondering if I got ripped off on this one. I paid $250 to have my gown cleaned and preserved (put in a nice box). What did everyone else pay?

$100
eta: I used wedclean. I was actually pretty pissed when it first came back because it wasn't 100% packed correctly (and they didn't fix the hangar straps, like they said they would).
I had also paid another $100 for beadwork, and all they did was sew on clear sequins, but no beads.
So, they refunded the $100 on the beadwork. They covered the shipping for me to send it back again and they fixed the hangar straps.
So, now it looks great! There are still some beads missing, but I don't think anyone would ever notice...

I paid $100 plus insurance on my gown from wedclean. They did a great job and did a few sewing fixes free of charge (if Im remembering correctly). They took a little longer than I expected but it wasnt like I really needed it for anythign.
Not necessarily. Yours might have been cleaned and packed nicer.
