Gown Preservation - Which is the best method?

I just got my dress cleaned and boxed. I asked if it was going to be vaccuum sealed and the man told me that not many places do that around here and that I would have to send the dress away to have it done. So, it was cleaned and put in a beautiful box with a window so you can see it w/acid free paper. I hope this helps.

BTW - my mom's dress was sealed and we just opened it not too long ago. After 40 years it did turn yellow a bit.

Mine is the same way and it was done bymy dry cleaner.
