grandma wants to know where my thank you's are..

and she was very upset to hear that she didn't get her thank you because I didn't get my proofs. I e-mailed my photographer and he said they'll get to them in a few weeks. I don't know when that means I will get them by. It's been almost 4 months since my wedding, is that a really long time to wait to send thank you's? Actually it'll be close to 6 months by the time we design them, order them and actually get them out. I'm going to need ritalin for that project

I just got mine the week of christmas, now i have to find the energy to write them out!

I haven't gotten mine out yet either! I have to call my photographer to tell her what I want.

was it in your contract? how long until you got them? i lucked out b/c i was my photographers last wedding of the year and its slow now, i got mine in about 1 month

Can you all call my grandma and let her know that you're thank you's haven't been out yet either? Be warned, she is MEAN!

i'm on 7 months and they are still not all out. I sent out 20; now I just stare at the rest like they are sworn enemies.

I actually have 1 sample thank you that the photographer sent me but I really dont' like one of the pictures which is why I'm not so patiently awaiting my proofs. Anyway I'm thinking of mailing her the sample just to shut her up! She's blind anyway she won't even know how massive my arm looks in the picture

so i guess you didn't get digital proofs then? I actually had mine done and ordered within a month of the wedding... only for them to continue to sit there. it SUX to write them. I recommend drinking wine while doing them. But most people i know are like, oh, you have a year (I know not everyone thinks that though).

i ordered our thank yous and i thought they came today but instead i got 2 boxes of baby/new year cards.....
nice mix up right??

so this will set my time frame back some more....

and my relatives are asking too

A big group of friends went to a wedding together and we all just recently got the TY cards - 20 months after the wedding !
Meanwhile the couple had a baby, so we surmise that a christening will be coming up soon.

my cousin sent her thank you's out over a year after the wedding, then a few days later i got her baby shower invitation!
